Mark S. Hooper earned the B.S.E.E. from University of California, Davis in 1989, the M.S.E.E. from San Jose State University in 1994, and Ph.D.E.E. with a minor in mathematics from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2005. He has been employed at, among others, Xicor, National Semiconductor, ON Semiconductor, Schneider Electric, San Jose State University, Microsemi, Georgia Institute of Technology, NXP Semiconductors and GlobalFoundries. With strong theoretical foundations, he is experienced in the development/research of analog/RF/mmwave/mixed signal ICs at the system, circuit and device levels in CMOS, Bipolar and BiCMOS technologies using various processes. As technical architect, projects were taken from concept to production. He is a Senior Member of the I.E.E.E.
